Let me take you all to the beautiful ruins of Katas Raj Temples
People are trapped in history and history is trapped in people
So walk with me in this ruins and I'll tell you the whole story
Starting from its origin I would like to tell you that these ruins and these temples are 5000 years ago
Itis believed that the site was visited by the Pandawa Brothers of Mahabharta and these temples were constructed to commemorate their visit....
These are the sites where Pandawas lived during their exile
The location of Sath Ghara or seven templesis said to be the place where Pandawas lived their 12 years of exile.

Katas Raj has a collection of buildings and ruins that stretch in an unbroken line from the Buddhist era down to British Rule
This lake is also a part of Katas Raj temples
And it's history is quite interesting
So here I like to tell you that it is believed that When one of the most famous بھگوان of Hindu community i. e Shiva lost his wife Seeta then he well cried
And due to his 2 tears two most famous lakes came in occurence One is in India and the other is here in Pakistan i. e Katas Lake  Actually the word Katas really means " آنسوؤں کی لڑی"
And the other thing that is most famous regarding this lake is that the Hindus came here twice in a year from India to take a bath here
Because it is believed by them that by doing this they will be free from their sins
Here is the place of worship for Hindus where they especially come from India to Pakistan twice in a year.
